This gentleman needs to learn that you must turn the source code into
an executable file.  Under Unix, you may use "chmod +x filename.c" to
turn on the execute permission.

I don't know how you would do this on a Mac, though.  Presumably you
would use ResEdit to give it the file type of an application.
