If Xanim eventually supports the new Sorenson codec in QuickTime 3, I have
a high-quality copy of the intro to Bill Nye that I could send you.
(Sorenson is pretty impressive. It's better than MPEG-1, although it also
encodes slower.)

When Microsoft takes a product from outside, it never understands the basis
for the product, and it gnaws at it like a beaver on a pine. The pine soon
falls over. . . . Over time, Microsoft will ruin its own stable of core
products from within. The homespun products will get flakier and flakier
(see how Microsoft Office has gone) and the acquired products will decay
really fast.
