Subject: The difference...

...between an NT and a *nix admin:
Admin: (Global page) Server's going down in five minutes.
This means no Visual C++ or Outlook for 20 +. Either loaded
means a likely network access and a probable system hang. This
hits another dozen programmers and and about 30 artists. Cost:
About 14 man hours+ plus gripe time and loss of flow.
Me: (on phone) Ray? What's the deal here? We've got a deadline
today. This is the second time the system's going down today and
I ain't even had my coffee yet.
Admin: Yeah, but last time NT rebooted I forgot to turn the
switch box and it didn't detect my mouse.
